It was an ET movie which first introduced me to this song sometime in the 80s which later research revealed that the movie's title was actually "Mac & Me". It was an intersting movie especially those times when people, including me, were so inclined into believing that there are Extra-Terrestrials (ET) among us here on earth. I remember I find it hard sleeping at night because the ET might attack.
I used to consider them mosters but when I watched these films (ET, Mac & Me and other alien-related films of today), my notion about them had changed. There was nothing to be afraid of after all. If in the future, there would be enough proof that those ET really exist and the tendency of them conquering our earth, then so be it. I am a believer of the phrase that "Everything happens for a reason". I would even believe a divine reason behind it. But that's ultra vires ("beyond the powers" of my brain as of the moment). That's too complex for me to conceive right now. I am just a blogger who tells stories about my favorite songs.
