This will be my second post from the American Idol 2008. David Cook would always remind me of how I owned an iPod. As a music lover, one should not go without a music player or an iPod but my financial status was preventing me from owning one.
A dear friend of mine gave me a green iPod as a present from USA. He is Dane. He even lent me his "mass storage drive" (a portable hard disk drive) with almost 30gb of saved mp3 songs on it. One of the songs I uploaded was this one. I think David's interpretation of the song is much better than the original. I love the way he interpreted it! I even watched him on Youtube and he sings it full of soul and emotion. That was the moment I couldn't get David's image out of my head. Add to that my admiration for singers with husky voice, David is one of them, plus the "rocker" factor in him.
When I shower, I always sing this song, the David Cook way of singing it. I sure took notice of the song since David sung it but I have known it's tune since Mariah Carey. I was so interested in David Cook's version, I read the lyrics, which I didn't understood before. I understand it now.
