This one song was composed by an artist which is now being used as the campaign theme for a presidential candidate Leni Robredo. She is currently the Vice President of the country and she is one notch away from the presidential seat.
It is so Pilipino when one volunteers for the cause of another person. I cannot help but remember the Bayanihan scene where fellow Pilipinos carry a hut of their neighbor. The picture below is my childhood memory of the word Bayanihan which means A spirit of civic unity and cooperation among Filipinos according to Oxford dictionary.
On Monday, May 9, 2022, around 50 million Filipinos will go out and cast their vote for their national and local leaders. May the Spirit of the Almighty Being be upon the present and future of the country.
