Walang Natira - Gloc 9 song translated

This is a long overdue translation of this song. Due to the prodding of a lot of my readers and visitors to this blog, I have to do the translation now despite the busy schedule at work.

This song has become so popular, in fact, the official music video was given an award by MYX channel.  There have been guestings here and there by this very talented rap artist.

Below is my translation.

WALANG NATIRA (Nothing is left)

Napakaraming nurse dito sa amin (There are a lot of nurses in our place)
ngunit bakit tila walang natira ahh (But why it seemed that nothing / no one is left)
nagaabroad sila ahh (They go abroad)
gusto kong yumaman 5x (I want to get rich)
nagaabroad sila ahh (They go abroad)
gusto kong (yumaman 5x (I want to get rich)nagaabroad sila (They go abroad)

Yung bayang sinilangan ang pangalan ay Pinas (The country i was born in named Philippines)
ngunit bakit parang puno na ang prutas ay pitas (But why life a tree, it's fruits are picked)
nauubusan ng batas parang inamag na bigas (Laws are expiring like rotten rice)
lumalakas na ang ulan ngunit ang payong ay butas (The rain gets stronger but umbrella has holes)
tumatakbo ng madulas mga pinuno ay ungas (running very fast, leaders are rude)
sila lamang ang nakikinabang pero tayo ang utas (They alone get the benefits and we have none)
mga kabayan natin ay lumilipad, lumalabas (Our countrymen are flying away, going outside)
para pumunta ng ibang bansa at doon magtamas (to go to another country in order to )
ng kamay para lamang magkakalyo lang muli (their hands only to have corn / callous)
ang pahinga’y iipunin para magamit pag-uwi (rest days will be saved that they can use when going home)
dahil doon sa atin mahirap makuha buri (because in our place, it is hard to achieve buri {maybe reputation})
mapahiran ng chokolate ang matamis na ngiti (to rub chocolate to the sweet smile)
ng anak na halos di nakilala ang ama (of a child who almost could not recoognize his dad)
o ina na wala sa tuwing kaarawan nila (or mom who are absent during his birthday)
dadarating kaya ang araw na ito’y magiiba (will the day come that this will change?)
kung hindi ka sigurado magisip-isip ka na (if not so sure, you think twice)

Napakaraming inhinyero dito sa amin (There are many engineers in our place)
ngunit bakit tila walang natira ahh (But why it seemed that nothing / no one is left)
napakaraming karpintero dito sa amin (there were many carpenters in out place)ngunit bakit tila walang natira ahh (But why it seemed that nothing / no one is left)
nagaabroad sila ahh (They go abroad)
gusto kong yumaman 5x (I want to get rich)
nagaabroad sila ahh (They go abroad)
gusto kong (yumaman 5x (I want to get rich)nagaabroad sila (They go abroad)

mabuti kung mabuti ang kinakahinatnan (It's good if the result is good)
ang kapalaran ng lahat nang nakipagsapalaran (the fate of all who took chances)
kahit nag-aalangan para lang sa kapakanan (even if they are hesitant, it is for the benefit)
ng mahal sa buhay ang sugal ay tatayaan (of their loved ones, they will bet on the gamble)
sasanlaan lahat ng kanilang pag-aari (will mortgage all their properties)
mababawi din naman yan ang sabi pagnayari (which can be recovered they say, when accomplished)
ang proseso ng papeles  (the processing of papers)
para makasakay na sa eroplano (to board a plane)o barko kahit saan man papunta (or a ship wherever it will lead them)
basta kumita ng dolyar na ipapalit sa piso (as long as they earn dollars to exchange with peso)
ang isa ay katumbas ng isang dakot ng mamiso (one is equivalent to a handful of peso coins)
ganyan ba ang kapalit ng buhay ng Pilipino (is that the value of Filipino's life?)
kung lilisanin ang pamilya ang amo na kahit na sino (they will leave their family, boss is whoever)
gugtumin, sasaktan, malalagay sa peligro (will not be fed, will be hurt and be put in peril)
uwing nasa kahon ni wala man lang testigo (will come home inside the box without a single witness)
darating kaya ang araw na itoy mag-iiba (will the day would come that this will change?)
kung hindi ka sigurado magisip-isip ka na (if you are not sure, better think twice)

Napakaraming kasambahay dito sa amin (There are a lot of household help in our place)
ngunit bakit tila walang natira ahh (But why it seemed that nothing / no one is left)
nagaabroad sila ahh (They go abroad)
gusto kong yumaman 5x (I want to get rich)
nagaabroad sila ahh (They go abroad)
gusto kong (yumaman 5x (I want to get rich)nagaabroad sila (They go abroad)
ngunit bakit tila walang natira ahh

subukan mong isipin kung gaano kabigat (try to imagine how heavy)
ang buhat ng maleta halos hindi mo na maangat (their carried luggage that could hardly be lifted)
ihahabilin ang anak para ito sa kanila (they will entrust their child, this is for them)
lalayo upang mag-alaga ng anak ng iba (they will go away to take care of other's children)
matapos lamang sa kolehiyo mututubos din ang relo (after graduation from college, they can redeem the watch)
bilhin mo na kung anong gustong laruan ni Angelo (buy all the toys that Angelo wants)
matagal pa kontrato ko titiisin ko muna to (My contract is still a few years, i will have more patience)
basta ang mahalaga ito’y para sa pamilya ko (the important thing this is for my family)

Napakaraming guro dito sa amin (There are many teachers in our place)
ngunit bakit tila walang natira ahh (But why it seemed that nothing / no one is left)napakaraming nurse dito sa amin (There are a lot of nurses in our place)
ngunit bakit tila walang natira ahh (But why it seemed that nothing / no one is left)
nagaabroad sila ahh (They go abroad)
gusto kong yumaman 5x (I want to get rich)
nagaabroad sila ahh (They go abroad)
gusto kong (yumaman 5x (I want to get rich)nagaabroad sila (They go abroad)

napakaraming tama dito sa atin (there are many right people in our place)
ngunit bakit tila walang natira ahh (But why it seemed that nothing / no one is left)

That's it folks! I did my best to translate the song but there are words which I couldn't really translate.  I would need the help of my good friend Gloc-9 over here.  Let me know if you think you have a better way of translating them and leave it as a comment.  I would truly appreciate it.

Mabuhay (Long live!)
