Have you ever felt being taken for granted?
You know this song reminds me of my favorite phrase "hindi iisa ang araw" which literally means "no one day". It actually means "there will always be another day". Of course I say that because I may not help you today or notice you today but surely I will the next day, week or year. And then it occurred to me, "Is this the reason why we seldom say I love you?"
Given a chance, I always utter that word and thankfully, I am full aware of what I am saying, of expressing my feelings. I know I am sane, I am of sound mind when I do that. But how would it feel if your loved one neglects you or fails to affirm your standing in your relationship? You know the feeling of the affection slipping away, dying, running out of charge.
I am a believer of waves or the wheels: life is sometimes on top, sometimes you're under it. It's a cycle. There will be drought but there will be rainy season too (my favorite kind of season). Don't worry, if you don't hear the words "I love you", they are on their way. There will be another day. But if I were you, just keep going, keep sharing the love, say it more often. It wouldn't hurt. Trust me on this.
