This song instantly appealed to me as it talks about an inspiration. Colton Dixon was an american Idol finalist, known to be the Christian singer in the group.  It immediately occurred to me that in this song, he is talking about God. For us Christians, God is the source of our inspiration and strength.

I like this song really. It talks about our relationship with God. It is a reminder that we have our hope in him, our inspiration in him, our love in him, our joy in him.

That is one true love indeed.

Jealous.  That is a feeling which we do not want to experience but when we do, we just have to make sure to move on. A friend shared the lyrics of this song with me without any explanation but i can read between the lines. 

I really don't have much to say about this one except that: I too am feeling jealous... right now.

This song is about dividing your time between priorities and while you may be busy on your career, there is a force behind you that gives you strength.  That is the one who not only believes in you but loves you unconditionally.

That is the kind of love I ever wished for.  The kind that gives me joy but the same that gives me pain. I have that beloved, so grand, enormous, large, so big that I am capable of brushing aside the pain. This reminded me of a band singer in one of my adventures, together with a special friend of mine, in one of the Bars that we've been.  Me and this special friend of mine had a lot in common: beer, bar, band, travel and music, just to name a few.  And so in the midst of our sober moments in that bar, with all our topics exhausted, we got caught by this band singer (she's a background dancer and singer at the same time, or so we thought).  

She was just dancing and lip-syncing the songs.  If it was her turn to sing, she forgets most of the lyrics.  At first sight, we knew she was just a newbie in the business.  She gave us a lot of laugh that we forgot her performance was annoying.  We appreciated her effort though.  We knew she was giving her best... or perhaps of what's left of her energy for that performance night.

Well, the night went by so fast and that moment was very funny for me.  Very entertaining indeed!  By the way, I forgot to mention that the food was nice too... or perhaps, when you are so in love, everything just seemed to be right all along.  This is the reason I blogged about this song, which is not really a love song, but the lovely memory it brings.
