I believe I have always an angel beside me. Wherever I go, wherever I look, there will always be an angel protecting me.


I remember this one incident when I was in a very strange place. My thoughts were lost, I know my body is giving up for all my travels and troubles.  My mind was empty, my feet could hardly walk but I had to keep on walking. I had to keep on moving and I had to walk around an entire 3-hectare field. I did that first to look for the church entrance and secondly, to get rid of people.


The church gates were unfortunately closed for incoming pedestrians as the mass had just finished.  I just did not have the luxury of time to wait for the next mass schedule for that Sunday.  I walked on then realizing that I was towards the flock of people and media people whom I was really trying to avoid.


I just walked on.  To my surprise, there I saw a handsome face, a familiar one.  He shook hands with me and noticing that I was a bit haggard and tired so very early in the morning, he handed me a bag full of goodies, including medicines. 


When I thought I was lost in the wilderness, seeing a familiar face made me the feeling that I was at home - home sweet home.  When physically challenging tasks consumed me, God even provided me with food that nourishes my body! My protective angels all are all over. They are also providers.

This song was interpreted by American Idol contestant Jessica Sanchez. Since that night I watched the episode, I can't get it out my head. I have been a fan of Billy Joel and to be honest, I am not familiar with this particular song, more so when Jessica sang it. I was talking to a friend a while ago and we were catching up.

I told her, I believe I landed in my dream job already where I can help organizing the community which is how I was taught back in college. This is my passion. Other than that, I can still function as a teacher by becoming a lecturer at some community gatherings. And then I heard this song and it says everybody has a dream. I had a dream and now I am living that dream.

I fell like talking about love again. It's the "love fever" you know!

I was once in a situation that love is in-existent. I didn't know what it meant and how to define it. I still cannot defined it til now but I already have an experience of it.  I didn't know how to give importance to a person. I didn't know it would matter if I do some favor for them or not. It wouldn't really matter to me if I fail to talk to them or at least how they feel.

I thought love has to be confined with one person and I haven't found that person yet.  When I did, well, my world revolved around them. Everything was towards that person. I gave everything to that person to the neglect of the most special people in my life - my family!

That was the past. Now, my world is my family with a bonus and I don't think there's more I'd ask for when it comes to my love, my inspiration, my life.

It is just a tragic week that one of our most loved artists just passed away.  Whitney Houston was found lifeless in a hotel room.  This is all over the news. The Grammy Awards even had a segment honoring her.  I like Whitney Houston songs.  "Saving All my Love for You" is also a lovely song.  Add to that my personal favorite, "The Greatest Love of All".

This song entry of the day depicts of an unconditional love - a love that frees another and doesn't expect anything in return.  She just said "I will always love you" no matter what or where you are.  This song means so much to me because I have been trying to emulate the greatest love I have ever experienced.  The most unconditional love I have ever felt.  I bet you know by now that I am referring to my God's love for me.


I am just a human, I know, but this is what I strive for everyday - love unconditionally!  It has always been my motto that the world is a better place to live in if we have love.


Ever wondered why love has no easy definition? Because loving is not an easy thing to do especially to our enemies.  But let us not go farther.  We don't even love our parents, or our friends, or our relatives.  We easily express our abhorrence them.  Giving it the benefit of the doubt, perhaps we love them. But do we show it?  Do we say it? There are a lot of aspects related to love that is why it has no easy meaning.  Love has no easy way. Love is a sacrifice but you will agree with me when I say, "Love is a wonderful feeling".

Tis the month of February, the month of love for most people. I thought it would be best to talk about my first love. I grinned as I mentioned my first love back there. That is a good sign because I am happy to be talking about love.  Love is the happiest feeling, don't you agree?

You love someone or something when you spend time with them. You beat all odds just to be with them on time; you calendar dates with these people, you block all other plans over the weekend when a loved one is suddenly in need of your presence. You waste your cellphone load to call them and give them comfort.  You do errands for them, beyond expectations. You are selfless in most aspects of your life at the beck and call of a loved one.

We sacrifice for love. We ignore the words of other people; we reach for the stars, we promise the moon, the earth and the sky; anything for love.

There is this one song that keeps playing in my ipod and it talks about my first love. Mi Corazon by Don Moen.  It is a Spanish word literally meaning "My Heart".

The contents of my heart is my first love.  The biggest portion of that heart belongs to God's people. I love my God and one way to show that love for him is to be loving towards other people; He's creation!  This is the reason why as a young kid, I tried to please everyone. (But later on I learned that we cannot please everybody).  When you love, you can't hurt and when you can't hurt, this could be a better place to live in. Mother Teresa once said that: “If you judge people, you have no time to love them.”

I may not be as tender as Mother Teresa but we can love as much tender as we could.  Spread love!

I was with my co-workers last night. Just the ordinary bonding moments. Or so I thought.


I am such a magnet to friends with love problems. She is going through some relationship problems and I can't bear to see her tears falling.  As much as I could, I just brushed the sadness building up inside me just the sight of her crying.
