There are a lot of reasons why I love music. One of them is to WORSHIP. There is never a day that I do not listen to a worship song may it be by our local artist like Bukas Palad Music Ministry, Gary Valenciano or the likes of Sandy Patti, Don Moen, Hillsong, Maranattha, etc.
My life is never complete without music and it is fulfilled if I am able to express my heart out by singing worship songs. My religious support group or the community very close to my heart always reminds me that indeed "singing is the highest form of worship" and I believe that.
In the morning and out of 700+ worship songs installed in my ipod and this song plays, it calms my heart. I love the voice of the male artist who sang this worship song. I also love the lyrics of the song especially when it says... I'm coming back to the heart of worship...
It reminds me that Christian life has its ups and downs. It is an everyday struggle and when you feel that life has gone dry, I believe it is because we have gone away from the path that God wants us to take. Then I go back... I try to go back even if I will have to crawl. I will have to go back... back to the HEART OF WORSHIP.

Heart of Worship (When the music fades) lyrics |
Matt Redman |
Lyrics: |
Verse 1 When the music fades All is stripped away And I simply come Longing just to bring Something that's of worth That will bless your heart Bridge I'll bring You more than a song For a song in itself Is not what You have required You search much deeper within Through the way things appear You're looking into my heart Chorus I'm coming back to the heart of worship And it's all about You It's all about You, Jesus I'm sorry, Lord, for the thing I've made it When it's all about You It's all about You, Jesus Verse 2 King of endless worth No one could express How much you deserve Though I'm weak and poor All I have is yours Every single breath *Bridge* *Chorus* *Chorus* I'll bring you more than a song I'll bring you more than a song More than a song I'll bring you more than a song I'll bring you more than a song You're looking into my heart Looking into my heart You're looking into my heart Into my heart I'll bring you more than a song I'll bring you more than a song I'll bring you more than a song I'll bring you more than a song |
Great song for the Lord.
