Choice.  I have always known that we make choices every single minute. But then, in the bigger portion of my life, I just focused on one thing, not remembering that I have a choice.  It didn't really matter to me.  I was just... most likely idle everytime. 

When I heard this song, I instantly had a connection. I am in the process of "re-inventing" myself because I once again learned that I still have a choice.  I chose to say I am happy rather than say "I am not sad".  Happiness is a choice and once you have it, keep it. Do not let it go because no one will be happy for you but yourself alone.

I do not regret not making a choice.  Not making a choice is also a choice and I have to stand by it no matter what.  The most important thing is you chose to be happy.  I am just expressing joy, not regret, by the way.

This is the second time I am writing about this song.  It was sung by David Archuleta and reminded me of the movie City of Angels starred by Nicola Cage and Meg Ryan.

The movie depicted an extra ordinary love story of an angel named Seth.  He fell in love with Meg Ryan, a mortal he is supposed to be guarding and protecting.

Everything is possible in movies.  There are a lot of different ways to tell stories in movies. There are also a lot of love stories in real life.  However which way we see it, love is a wonderful feeling.  It is fulfilling.  "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" so they said and I agree.

We fall in love with ordinary people but when we do, they appear to be an angel to us.  Their physique or their intelligence or their affection can simply be equated to an angel.  That's how we are when we are in love.  Everything is special, extra ordinary.  One note of precaution though, like in the movie City of Angels, not all love stories end with happily-ever-afters.  And when that sad reality comes, knock on wood, then we go back to that quote above.

I thought I am through with pain. I thought this was all the pain I will have to bear and I thought of a time and place to end it.  And everything is told in this song I just heard this morning.  

I could still bear pain after all... because it is more painful to let go of someone you love when you know there is something you could do about it.  I don't deserve to be hurt, nobody does but it's a way of life.

Akap is short for YAKAP. That means "embrace".  When we feel sad, an embrace would sure uplift us a bit.  When we embrace someone, we assure them that we are here to stay, we care, we love.

This is a song a few years back.  It was introduced to me by my beloved. I heard this before but wasn't paying too much attention to what it says until it was sung for me.

I am a very serious person. I've grown such because of a lot of life's cruelty shown to me.  It was cruel I say because I struggled with it all alone.  I have managed to endure too much pain in my heart but without regrets.  I don't regret my bad experiences because they taught me to be strong albeit I remained to be serious.

When I met my beloved, I learned how to give myself a reason to smile.  Well, to make the story short, it is a wonderful feeling when someone accepts you for who you are.  It is blissful especially when I am complemented, embraced for my shortcomings... hugged when I feel so down.

I translated this song for you to appreciate.  It is a love song. A song for an unconditional love which we are supposed to give to everyone... even if it hurts.  That's how my love will be.  And I will never ask for anything in return.

I will never forget the movie CHANCES ARE, also starred by Robert Downey, Jr. That was an old movie back in the 90s.  This song, however is another story.  It just talks about "who knows" as opposed to a planned life.

I have always planned my life because that's what I learned from my mentor.  Somewhere, however, I had to abandon some of those plans not because chances are, I may fail, but because something unplanned came up.  I do not regret planning my life, despite uncertainties of fate.  I just have too much to consider and plan for so I am living life as it comes right now.  But we cannot stay that way for long.  No matter what fate brings us, we still should be ready, to at least cope with our current situation.

I have committed myself to someone and what if that commitment doesn't seem to work out because of numerous humps and bumps along the way? Do we wait til timelines become aligned with the heart's desires? Then how long shall we wait? Ohh, who knows, ayt?

I heard this song this morning and it somehow reminded me of the very first song I blogged here long time ago.  It shivered me because I don't like the feeling.  That is a feeling of having a relationship but knowing that it is going to end sometime later.  

Who would want to experience a heartbreak? I don't.  But every day of breathing is a heartbreak because each moment, we will make a move that will either make us or break us.  Add that to investing so much of your time and effort, including feelings, just to lose that someone closest to our heart.

There will always be two sides in a coin. One cannot appreciate the light without the concept of darkness.  Love is the absence of hate.  Loneliness is not happiness.
